Your favorite knives?

By

What is your favorite knife you have that you own? And why, wither it just be a simple pocket knife for everyday stuff or a knife you carry on the job or use for hunting/ the woods, or any other reason why you have one.
Feel free to rant on about your knife if you want to. I just want to hear what a lot of people own. I’m betting on a lot of K-Bars, Cold Steel, Gerber, SOG knifes.
Graham is your Glock knife the Glock 78? or the 81? I just picked my 78 up a few days ago and I love that knife, I’ve been sleeping with it under my pillow because it still has that new aura that doesn’t let me put it down yet.

Marine Fighting Knife. Mine is made by Ka-Bar with the serration. I find that it is the best all around knife you could own. It can fulfill both tactical/combat and survival uses with excellence. I wont go too much into it but for the money it is the best all around fixed blade. I just started doing reviews of knives on youtube. — youtube.com/graywolf727

my pocket knife that is tan with picture of an elk on the handle, not sure why this is my favorite but i just love it.

I have a Kershaw spring-assisted folding knife and I love it. I get it sharpened periodically to keep it up to snuff. I also have a Glock brand fixed blade tactical knife. It is very reliable and I take it hunting with me every time. It all depends on your personal preference.

4

mine is a old Smith & Wesson black with a switch blade feature with a blade stopper so the blade won’t come back.

“Bench Made”

The “Griptillian”

one of their best knifes.

Very similar to the “Bench Made” knife used by the Military.

I have several I have collected over the years….Gerber,Cold Steel,Silver Cloud(handmade from Indian reservation) and others. A good machete is good to have in your pack when hunting or hiking.

I like my Gerber/Silver Cloud folding knives…..they are handy.

7

My single blade folding Kershaw. I’ve had the knife for about ten years. Carry it daily. Use it for everything.

8

my gerber folder, my old “master” 4120 stainless folder. my uncles bowie that he picked up somewhere in the east while touring with the navy, and my walker filleting knife, my arcos 8″ chefs knife. they’re my favourites… i do have more. and they’re my favourites too, but not as favourite.

9

My absolute favorite knife is an old timer pocket knife called a muskrat…with a close second being my buck zipper. Both of which carry a very fine edge, and I use them all the time.

CaseXX, Old Timer, pocket knife. Because I can do everything I need to with either of these knives.

I have many knife as I collect them many are just for display now as some are too old to use. I have a old fillet knife that my father made for my grand father many years ago it has been sharpened so many times that there is not much blade left.

I have a boot ranger that I picked up in Germany many years ago. It is one of my favorite throwing knifes. I have a few leathermans and love every one. They are just a great overall knife.

I have many fixed blade knifes that I have bought over the years, But the ones that my father made seem to be the best and most used in my collection. They were all made from old saw blades and seem to hold up to anything that I can throw at them.

But of all the 100 some knifes I have in my collection I have and carry a knife made by Buck many years ago. It is called the Scout lite. Just like the Buck lite. It is a lock blade that they made for the Boy Scouts many years ago. It is red and says scout on the side. It even has a case that has the boy scout emblem on the side.

The favorite of mine? That would be the copy of the Fairbairn Sykes pattern 3 dagger I forged from 5160 stock. It holds an edge like none other, and is very ergonomic, as the design permits. It’s the backup to my Ruger Redhawk loaded with .44 special. Nothing beats making your own stuff… This knife will push cut corrugated cardboard as if you are cutting butter. I could probably shave with it, but that really doesn’t sound like a good idea…

not a knife its a saber but its my great great grandpas saber that he wore when he was in the confederate Calvary.

My Spyderco Viele, I love the style of the knife. My everyday carry in my pocket knife is a Columbia River Knife and Tool Mirage. One third the price of the Viele but it holds its edge and comes in handy around the liquor store where I work.

Spyderco Delica 4. It’s small and light for everyday carry. The thumb hole is oversized for easy opening. The handle is easy to grip. The action is smooth and without any wobble. The blade holds a sharp edge and is easy to sharpen. It’s almost perfect for every day carry.

I have a cutco drop point hunting knife as shown here
and you may have not heard of the company, but they are probably the best cutlery company in the USA. I have used it to gut many animals including deer and turkey along with smaller game, and have never had a problem. Also they knife is easily sharpened and stay sharp longer. These can only be purchased online at their website. All cutco knives include a life time gurantee.
