No. I don't believe that animals are more aware because that would make them subject for redemption also on the day of Christ's return. And animals don't have souls. They are not going to heaven. But I believe your story. Mainly because there is no reason for me not to since it has already happened before in the bible. (Num.22:21-31) I believe animals have feelings and are aware of things. And they will respond to their creator Meaning they would recognize and know who He was if he were to be standing right beside them. But here's the misconception I want to address. The animal in this story could not have said that unless God did it. That animal can't talk on it's own.
It's not about the animal.....it's about God. And He is coming.
I know He is. He was just telling your Pastor not to worry because He is coming. And He's coming soon my friend.
But He didn't just say that on His own. God enabled him to say it. That had nothing to do with that animal. God could have used anything to say that. Including a tree or water. He just so happened to use a fox. And as far as the giraffe bowing his/her head to what the Pastors wife said, the word says that every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.
I believe that that is true....Everything in nature will have to acknowledge it's creator. But animals aren't meant to partake in the salvation Christs has provided for us. That's why I mentioned earlier that they don't have souls. So why would it be necessary for them to be aware that Jesus is coming when nothing's going to happen with them? They're animals....
Whom I don't personally believe the Lord has revealed his will to concerning the tribulation. He's given us His word...what has He given them?

God Bless You my friend and
yet another awesome question.

I guess Doctor Dolittle has converted. But you're right. Animals don't generally speak in any human language*, so it didn't happen.

Still, in asserting animals may be more spiritually aware because of saying "the king is coming", it is presuming that christianity is true. If it isn't true (and with the premise of talking animals) they are as deluded as humans.

sorry, I'm an atheist. i also dont believe that animals can talk. wow. btw, I'd like to quote you. "that story is a lie" yes it is, and I'm answering the question this way cuz I want to spare the ppl who might believe this, from the horrible possiblity of believing everything pastors say. I don't have to meet the pastor to know that the story is a load of crap. Nothing against you. Something against the pastor. Poor fox. Why did he watch it suffer? That's not very pastor-y like. y did the wife go to the zoo? why a giraffe? But, the animals are more aware of things, not necessarily the supernatural, than most ppl, but not all.

Well, my cats often seem to be watching something that I can't see, so maybe they are seeing spirits or something, who knows? However, they've never said anything to me beyond "Meow". I suppose you could interpret "meow" as being the cat-language phrase for "The King is coming". However, I usually just tend to interpret it as the cat-language phrase for "Feed me".

I would not be one to say it didn't happen that is for certain. We will see many signs and wonders before this is all over.

Yes animals can sense these things. They know if something is there that we can't see or don't know is there.

OK. A short sweet answer to your question. Yes. Wild animals are more attuned than domesticated animals and humans. No comment on the rest of the story. Good one. You have a star.
