Like if you had to choose between, spear season or bow season or knife season or rock season
Which would you choose and why …?

Knife season because it would be intense sitting in a tree waiting for an animal to walk under you and then jumping on its back, pitting your skill against the animals strength until one of you falls.
Bow or spear. Knife and rock would be a little dangerous and would not have a high success rate. For example if you hunt elk with a rock, you’re just gonna piss them off. And if you’re hunting smaller game like rabbits you’re gonna have a hard time catching them to kill them with a knife, unless you are proficient at throwing the knives. Knives are not a logical hunting choice but a tool used once the animal is already down.
Bow season. It is the next best weapon. More range than a spear.
When is anvil season going to be?
Well, a bow.
Distance, the next best thing to being there.
No, I stopped sport hunting many years ago, now. I’d only hunt if I were hungry and that’s it. (I consider sport hunting to be a sin against Nature and God’s creation.)
If – IF – I had to hunt in order to eat, it wouldn’t be with: a bow, or a spear, or a knife. I’d use all those lessons that Ragnar Benson taught me, back when I was young, and turn the entire farm into a, ‘mine field’ of: snares, traps, and drags.
I’m in total agreement with Glock Doctor but I think I would prefer the tiger trap without pungi sticks.
How about Roman short sword season, go after wild boar gladiator style. Or how about catapult season! Wait for the deer to step into the catapult and launch him into the next county!
I bow and rifle hunt, so im all good. I love Bowhunting because of the challenge. It’s hard getting your game close to you, not to mention the weather, scents, etc you have to get right.
bow
It would no doubt be bow season. As I’ve stated in the past. more fun then a wild woman and a heckuva lot cheaper. In the long run that is. The wild woman could wind up with your house. At least if you bow hunt you can keep your house. Think about that men. Am I right?
I bow hunt anyway.
Silly Cane Toad… a catapult would be ridiculous…
Now a ballista. Now that would be something.
I’d choose “antifreeze season.”
Mmmm…sweet meat.
i don’t care as long as it’s WABBIT SEASON.
i would use my bare fucking hands cause im a boss
mdgor1 got to it first – my mind immediatly went to “rabbit season!”, “duck season!” …
So, I’d hunt archery before the others – in large part because I’ve been shooting a bow since I was about 9 or 10, but also because it allows for a “solitary” hunt. You don’t need dogs, a party or anything else. In fact, I prefer archery to rifle for hunting.
Behind that it would probably be knife season, just because I’m more interested in knives then I am in spears.
Spears would be next in line, somewhat simply because of hunting as opposed to because I’m that interested in spears. I’m pretty sure I would skip rock season.
Thinkingblade
I would use a chainsaw! I know its loud but it works for leather face. No really I would use whatever I had too. I love to hunt and just enjoy the outdoors.
