Which Wild Card team from each conference will have the best chance of making a run this year?

I know this is early cuz the season isn’t over but, out the teams that haven’t locked up their divisions, and are still in the hunt which teams will pose the biggest threat. Here are the teams to choos from
NFC – Minnesota, NY Giants, New Orleans, Washington
AFC – Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Jacksonville, Tennessee
*Note – can’t pick Cleveland and Pittsburgh because one must win division. Don’t pick the team that you think will win the division. Ex. If you think Pittsburgh will win the division, don’t pick them to be the best contender.

Personally think the Jags and Vikings have the best chance at making runs

    Tennesse and Ny Giants.

I’m with you on Jacksonville and Minnesota. They have great run defenses and can run the ball really well themselves. That’s the beginning of a great recipe for a deep playoff run.

AFC Wild Card – Jacksonville Jaguars (who get the nod SLIGHTLY over Cleveland because they have the superior defense).

NFC Wild Card – Minnesota Vikings (What more do I need to justify besides Adrian Peterson?)

Jags have been looking good. I’ll go with them since I can’t take Cleveland. In the NFC I agree with Minnesota, simply because the rest of the conference is that bad. The Giants are playing some of the worst football I’ve ever seen, but they’ll probably get that sixth spot.

You need to have an offense that can run, but it doesn’t stop there. I can only think of two SB teams in the last 10 years that had weak passing games (’01 Ravens and ’06 Bears), and nobody in the playoffs has a defense of that caliber.

In the NFC, the Giants have the best overall balance. In the AFC, Jacksonville is playing the most complete ball, but I still don’t see them beating the Patriots.

I think Vikings will be the one. They are already doing it right now, I don’t think the Jags really qualify as a run they are a team that is consistently as good they are performing right now. If they were not in Indy’s division they would be a regular playoff contender

    Jacksonville and Minnesota
