Which of these knives are best?

It’s for my boyfriend’s birthday…

1. http://store.randmcnally.com/sale/just-marked-down/swiss-army-traveller-lite.html (6 layers, 150grams)

OR should I buy him two that cost less instead of the first

2. http://www.swisstool.co.uk/st/product.php?productid=16237&cat=254&page=1

Keep in mind the weight..

Should I just get him the first one, or BOTH the last two? He doesn’t go hunting, but it looks like it could be useful.
Oh, and he doesn’t own any Swiss Army Knives, but has wanted one for a while.

Would getting 2 be pointless?

I would get him the first one of the last two you listed. However I am not a big fan of Swiss Army Knives, I do have a Leatherman Wave though, I have carried it daily for over 10 years and it is still going strong and as I am a rancher and farmer I have had occasion to use it for more things than you can imagine. The only drawback with the Wave is the weight of it if carrying it in your pocket. I carry mine on a belt sheath and never think about it being there.

If it was my birthday I would rather have like a leathermans tool they’re up to date and awesome

Look at the ones made by GERBER before you buy a swissarmy knife ,they are the real deal I promise, you’ll most likely get diamonds on your b’day if you do !!!!!!!!!!!!
