Fixed broadheads vs expandable are always a hot issue. I use the Spitfire expandables and find them to be very accurate in my crossbow and compound. Don’t go over 100 grains and make sure you are using the same field point weight for practice. My compound doesn’t like Muzzy’s either for some reason. The Spitfires work great. Good Luck!

I shoot G5 Montec broadheads and they group very well. They make a target “blank” (unsharpened) as well as the fixed blade. There’s also a G5 replaceable blade broadhead that looks the same but I haven’t shot it for groups. The “knock” on the Montec is part of what makes it fly so well: it’s compact. It won’t cut the largest hole. Some forums get on it for not being extremely sharp out of package. It’s killed every deer that I or my son-in-law have shot with one. I shoot a Diamond Black Ice and a Diamond Marquis by the way. I’ve shot the blank at a range target with a Mathews Z7 as well and put three in the 1″ center of a target at 25 yards. I think it’s a very accurate–if not the hugest hole cutter.

well here is a old timers view,, the bear fixed blades ole type which are still on the shelf work well there cut is huge,,, when you have them tuned to your bow shoot them there a litle tough detting them out of the target ,, but here is the best part,,,, you can have them razor sharp in 3-5 min with a good wetsone and or 3 side file
