What dog would make the best playmate for my Min Pin?
I am looking to extend mine and my Fiance’s family. We have a 9 month old Min Pin and we are ready for another dog. We are financially stable to take care of 2 dogs and we have plenty of room in the house and also a huge yard. I want something small like him, that way when they play he won’t get hurt. I want whatever is best for him. I know he wants a buddy and he’s got to get bored playing with just me and my fiance. He is good with dogs and cats, (I don’t want a cat) and we take him to Petsmart and Petco twice a week. I was thinking about a Dachshund because we have TONS of moles in the yard and thought they would enjoy hunting them together. So if anyone has any experience with Min Pins or dachshunds and what other dog breed will get along with him please give your advice.

Look at your dog’s personality and make sure you get a dog with a temperament that will match. Take the dog you are considering out a few times and if possible, with your min pin. See how they behave together and be wary of any hunting, stalking or attack like behaviour.
