They are all the best at what they were bred to do. The GSP may be the best at what you just mentioned, but that doesn’t help you much if you are needing a dog to track down and hold wild boar. In that case, the Dogo Argentino would be the best. And if you are hunting vermin, neither the GSP or the Dogo Argentino would be suitable, you’d need a small terrier.
It just depends on what you need. That’s why there are so many hunting breeds is because there are so many different situations and different species to hunt.

Depends a lot on what and where you are hunting. There is a whole class of sporting dogs, and they are all good at something.

Depends on the type of hunting you do. Some breeds are generalists; some are specialists.
My golden from a hunting line does all those things too.

Depends on what kind of hunting you are looking to do. Retreivers are good for waterfowl

There are different types of hunters in the canine world.
Sight hounds are best at hunting fast, above ground vermin. Terriers are best at hunting above and below ground vermin.
Retrievers, pointers, spaniels, and setters seldom kill their prey, they aide human hunters (mostly hunting fowl). I don’t believe a german shorthair pointer would be very good at hunting rabbits. Different dogs were bred to hunt fox, wolves and deer because those animals posed a threat to man’s interests (ie: crops, livestock).
I hate to answer your question with a question, but a really good answer depends entirely on the prey you are planning to hunt.
