Hey Critter, got an Idea , Dave mentioned in a video about transplanting herbs to his personal space but I don’t think he did any video’s beside showing plants and explaining their uses .

i posted my first comment without reading the rest, jeez man, what a bunch of crybabys, did they get lost, can they not read, the title is “trap preparation 1″, well anyways keep posting these trapping vids, they are very good, and accurate. shut some people up by posting a slide wire/drowning lock set for beavers. again man great video!

why do you insist on speaking about things which you know nothing, trapping is a traditional skill here in america, our country was explored and settled by trappers. the trapping of wildlife is also used for wilderness conservation and preservation. people here in america still support themselves by trapping, either for fur, meat, or pest control. so take your agenda elsewhere and let other folks learn. keep up the good work steve ,5*
enoughraptor6, that’s what’s called a “night latch” . It’s a pretty common mod. We might get into modifications at some point. But we’re starting at the basics.

Heard story, do not know if its true – about some hunter. This hunter set foothold trap, wich i know as “irons” on his wife’s lover to repell him… The dude discovered irons without seting them off. He wants to send “message” to the hunter by crapping into trap, so he hunkered down. He crapped on the trigger plate, and this trap caught his happysack…

i dont do alot of trapping but i went to a gathering for trapping. a good idea i heard is to file a shelf on the pan were the dog meets. when you are setting it it will give a slight click and you know your good. i hope that made sense. if not ill try and re-explain.
Of course if it is unavoidable I would use any means nessasary to stay alive. The way the video is presented it almost glorifies the foot trap. I believe the video could have gone about its presentaion better. I’m in no way insulting your methods, just stating my opinion. I didn’t mean to get everyone flustered. I’m still subscribed so, it wasn’t that serious. LOL.

Dave and critter easy solution delete all the trash comments. Great video by the way im not nearly as experience as you critter but I have trapped for a few years and thought your video did a good job of covering the basics. P.S. usually the little people who dump on others videos are activist with an agenda for or against something so there only interest in the video is bringing you down, just dont bite man.
I say fuck the ethics people, I’ll kill any animal in any way as long as I get to eat it. My only ethic is that I eat what I kill, I never kill for sport. Anything else, I don’t care. I don’t care how much pain the animal experiences, I don’t care how long it takes it to die, the only thing I care about is getting it in my stomach. Humans are the top of the food chain, and I don’t give a shit what all you moral-conscious liberals say.
