Three seasons, two openers for Michigan waterfowl hunters this fall
Michigan waterfowl hunters will have a 60-day season again this fall, but only two opening days in October for all three hunting zones. Duck hunting will open on Oct. 2 in the Upper and northern Lower Peninsulas and Oct. 9 in the southern portion of the state.
