Texas land commissioner (Texas’ “W2004″ campaign manager no surprise) finds it peachy to wipe his @ss with the contract of a dead man that gave Texas the Christmas Mountain area of land for “public outdoor use”

so what does the GOPig do? wants to promptly sell it off to the highest bidder

how can CONscum condone spitting on the grave of a man who died given the word his lands would be used as public, outdoor space?

the guy claims it’s because guns aren’t allowed in National Parks and hunting is an outdoor activity
are GOP dicks that small that they really need to compensate by toting a gun 24/7?

why what’s possible? why the nat’l parks service didn’t have the resources to buy it? probably because the CONscum in the administration won’t justify expenditures by the Nat’l parks service?

Do you know what you’re talking about?

“Originally, the General Land Office planned to convey the property to the National Park Service or the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. But neither agency would commit the resources to acquiring it, leaving it closed to the public. Since then, it has been patrolled by local property owners, including the Christmas Mountains Association, which now has 13 charter members and 5 associates, many of them naturalists, who pay the state an annual lease fee of $927, or 10 cents an acre. ”

    That may possibly be why?
