I’m in need of turkey hunting help!?
Posted by: | CommentsI somehow missread the Ohio DNR website and mixed up the Deer and Turkey fall seasons! My uncle is coming up from Georgia next week to go hunting with my dad and I, and I thought we were going deer hunting. Now we’ll have to go turkey hunting. Most of our gear will be the same (cammo, shotgun, groundblind, etc., but all the research and planning I’ve been doing to go hunting deer is useless! Does anyone know of a good public hunting area in NE Ohio where I could hunt Turkey? Please help a first time hunter!

Posted by: | CommentsThis little guy was about the only thing gobbling, had three hens with him and the tips of his wing feathers all roughed up like he had been strutting. I assumed (key word) that there are no longer any toms in the area. What do you guys think?
Also, beware, the ticks and skeeters are thick already.
