THERE ARE PLENTY of wild turkeys in the Valley. David Bolling/Index-Tribune Sonoma is flush with wild turkeys. Flocks, transplanted here years ago by the state Department of Fish and Game, have multiplied madly and are now 40 deep.

Oregon Youth Turkey hunt

Oregon Turkey hunt on the first day of the Youth season 2009. I am running the camera and the call while we try to kill one with a bow. Meanwhile a young jake rapes our decoy. He keeps screwing it for a good 20 minutes before the Toms finally came over to see what was up.

While driving around at dusk I caught this neat sequence of some Deer, Turkey and if you look close there is a rooster running around the deer. I had to zoom in to 25x so the filming is a bit shaky.
Question about turkey hunting?
Posted by: | CommentsIn some states is it legal to use a rifle for turkey hunting? I see alot of people sayin the do but in my state you have to use a shotgun so which states can you use a rifle in if any?
