So I’m 16 years old and DESPERATE for a job! The new year is coming and I’d like to have a job before then. I live in Phoenix, AZ by the way. Anyway, this Saturday or Sunday I plan on going out to actual stores and asking if they are hiring instead of just applying online. I only tried that at Ross and Fry’s but they told me I had to apply online. Do you guys have any tips? Also, I don’t have any professional work experience and I’ve never made a resume. Any advice on that? I actually do have a bit experience though but it wasn’t a “real” job. I only worked a month at my best friend’s dad’s pizza shop. It was like the gran opening so they needed a lot of help. After a month or so, I kept coming into the shop to work and they told me I didn’t have to work that day. So, yeah. I don’t really consider it a real job but it does give me work experience because I worked with the cashier, cleaned, stocked food, etc. Help???
