Is it legal to shoot and kill birds in your backyard in Texas?
Posted by: | CommentsOk, i do this all the time, i have shot and killed so far about 4 birds. 3 of them were those little brown ones , and one big one thats gray and white. Is it legal to hunt in your backyard in the state of Texas?
the big gray one isnt a mocking bird, the little brown ones i found out are house/tree swallows.
i just pluc them and sometimes cook them for my snakes and savannah monitors, hey what can i say free food.
Its a .177 Pellet air rifle, and the brand name is Daisy , i bought it at a pawn shop for 25 $ and i added a scope to it so it looks like power, i am also practicing for the Army , i won the shooting range contest from my JROTC at my high school just two weeks ago, and i won a Sansa 2GB Ipod and comes w/ ear phones brand new.

I was convicted of felony non payment of child support 7 or 8 years ago. I was sentenced to one year in jail. Since I have been out I have made all current payments and back payments. I have not missed one. LEARNED MY LESSON !!! I have been told not that there are certain felonies that do not take away your civil rights. Does anyone know for sure about Texas law? I want to be able to hunt and vote and want to make sure that I do things the right way.
Should we ban SUV’s, and Texas Drivers?
Posted by: | CommentsA person in Texas drove the wrong way on the highway and killed a family of four, and himself as well. He was a Texas driver, and his SUV was the “weapon”. SHOULD ALL SUV’S AND TEXAS DRIVERS BE FOREVER BANNED???

Jeff P and Dr G, you kind of missed the point. Some people want guns banned because they kill people. SUV’s are quite capable of killing as seen here. Should SUV’s be banned?
Were to live in Texas?
Posted by: | CommentsWe’re planning to move to Texas in 2011….I have a sister who lives in Sargent Texas…but its to small of a town for my family. I need any recommendation on good zip codes for my family to go house hunting. I currently reside in Lake Mary Florida one of the best city’s in Florida to live with A+ schools. My husband and I are nurses so we can work any were. We want small city but must have a mall and great shopping lol. Any recommendations would help. We plan on taking a two week trip in Dec so we can site see homes.
