Shall I choose Texas A&M University or Peking University?
Posted by: | CommentsI am a Chinese student studying as a PhD candidate in Peking University. My major is Computer Engineering. Although Peking University is the best in China, I’ve to spend five more years to get this PhD degree. I feel it’s a long time and my goal is an engineer but not professor. I recently got the admission of Texax A&M University, Master of Science, Computer Engineering, 25,155USD/year by myself. What shall I choose? I am a little worry about the job hunting thing if I choose TAMU. It would be still tough two years latter?

What are the pros and cons of being a Texas Game Warden vs Federal Game Warden?
Posted by: | CommentsAlso, do you need to have a lot of experience hunting and fishing to be one? I graduated with a bachelors in criminal justice last may now I’m getting a masters. I know for sure I want to work in law enforcement, I’m just not sure where exactly, depends where I get hired though of course. The notion of becoming a game warden seems really cool to me because I’ve always liked being outdoors (camping, backpacking, hiking) and I love wildlife. I just have a little experience hunting and fishing from when I was a kid. Hunting never really became appealing to me, I’d rather watch wildlife than kill it (I don’t have anything against it personally though).

In the state of Texas can a felon own a black powder gun
Posted by: | CommentsI am a convicted felon and i would like to be able to go hunting so i can feed my family ya know times are hard and all and i just wanted to know legally if i could hunt with a black powder rifle on my own property.
well comsidering the batf doesn’t consider black powder mussle loaders as fire arms , there is the question and if you don’t know the law in my state or on the subject don’t write me a useless answer becuase yes i do already bow hunt but black powder would give me more hunting time.
