If you don’t give pics, it didn’t happen. j/k but I would like links to a fairly reliable source.
***To reply to questions below: The king I am referring to is probably Alfonso I (of Naples) or possibly the II (though I think the son was meant to be Alfonso II). However, I did say ‘a king’ as in ‘any Neapolitan king’, as Showtime proved notorious at taking poetic license throughout their dramatisation of Henry the VIII’s reign in ‘the Tudors’. It would not surprise me if Naples had a leader that stuffed the dead bodies of his opponents for display (intimidation or perversion???) some 100 years either side of this era, but the producers thought it would be cool too toss it into the mix as having occurred then. My question is, did it EVER happen (within this time window or not). I’m an avid fan of royal history (particularly of England, but I have a pretty good memory of all notable European monarchs, even if I can’t list them in chronological order like I can with the Brits since before 1066) so I was very glad to see how closely Showtime stayed to fact in ‘the Tudors’. They did mix

Hi. I have a golden retriever who is 15 years old. I took him to the vet and my vet said that he has a few weeks to live. So I was wondering if I could take him after he died to a taxidermist so that they could preserve Richard (my dog) So I could use him as a coffee table or as decoration. This dog has always been apart of my family now after the dog is gone I want his body to be apart of my home decor. Do you think that this is legal? And how much do you think it would cost. I want this Dog to forever be apart of my home. Also do you think that its possible to have my dog preserved standing up on two legs? So that I can put clothes on it. I think it would look great with a top hat and a cane. Please don’t judge me either I’m a lonely old man who wants to have his best friend by his side or holding his chessboard forever

I am moving to Alaska and I have a lot of taxidermy, horns and antlers. Will it be possible for me to bring these with me (in the van) when I move? Is it against the law to transport taxidermy without a license or the tag for the animal? I got all this stuff from years of estate sales and just being given things. Will Canada allow you to carry these items with you across their border? And if you crate ship it can it be confiscated? I’ve been worried about being able to take it all with me. Thanks for the help.
