During my 3rd bow hunt of the Missouri season, which took place on December 10th, 2010, I was treated to a show put on by 2 of God’s creatures. As I sat in my Summit Broadhead Backpacker climbing tree stand, I enjoyed the sight of 2 magnificent Whitetail Deer browsing through a standing corn field. Even though the deer never got close enough to my stand for a shot opportunity, I was able to enjoy another sit “On God’s Front Porch.” Check out the OutdoorsmanByDesign Fan Page on Facebook at: www.facebook.com

convicted muzzle loaders in my state

in ny muzzle loaders that dont use a 209 cap or are able to be used for centerfire or rimfire ammo are considered legal for felons to own right now

on januuary 30 2011 i believe the law has been set to change to not allow for muzzle loading rifles for felons to hunt with in our state

what will happen to those who already own a muzzle loader and are felons on that date?

will the state have to grandfather them in since item was purchased before that date

i personally dont care how anyone feels about hunting or felons, just what the laws clearly states for the switch over
tnew , thanks for the answer but its not for me, i live in upstate ny in an area where it seems that 50 percent of the male population are convicted felons and at same time 80 percent of felons here hunt

just wondering if i should start warning buyers where i work that in a few weeks they will be arrested for buying a muzzle loader (it may be a good time for em to take up bow hunting like me)

I’m 19 and am planning on getting a hunting license soon. I’d like to buy a Mosin Nagant. The question is; I live in NYC and do not want to go through all the red tape and high licensing costs. Is it legal for me to purchase a rifle and store it in a gun safe at a relative’s home in upstate New York? Since I spend most of my time in college upstate, I’d rather not get a license for NYC. During the background check, do they somehow register the rifle to a permanent address? Also, if I am transporting the rifle through New York state in my car, all that I need to do is keep it unloaded in a locked box, right? I’ve never bought a gun before (shot plenty though) so I’m a bit apprehensive about New York’s ambiguous, fascist gun laws (hoping to move far away when I graduate!!!!!) Thanks a lot!!!!

I was wondering if I could take my Crosman 2100 to Forest Park Queens, NY for target practice.
I was hoping I could, since I a few times i have found C02 12 gram gas tanks and paintball supplies their. If i cannot, can i at least bring an air soft gun or no?

If not i would settle for any other areas in New York state where I can bring them.
Just tell me the address.

Also if I wanted to hunt small game in these areas do i need a hunting license?
and which areas can i hunt?

Please answer as many of these questions as you can.
Thanks in advance
