Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The family traditionally would spend the morning hunting rabbits, squirrels and pheasants on the family farm. In the afternoon a big home cooked meal was the focus. Over time the farm property was sold, the hunters aged, shooting small animals for sport was not seen as politically correct as it had appeared in earlier decades. The family continues to gather at this particular time of year with a new entertainment focus.
