Hunting safety comes through education
The Tennessee hunting season will open in five weeks with the squirrel season on Aug. 28, followed by the dove season on Sept. 1. These are two popular seasons and many young hunters are first introduced to the outdoors hunting squirrels and doves.

Is a small chicken barn considered to be a building according to Michigan’s laws about hunting Safety zones?

There is this hunter that shoots just fifty feet from our chicken barn. The barn is only the size of a regular shed used for a lawn mower. I do know that there are safety zones in which you can’t hunt. The law is that you can’t shoot anything within 150 yards of any building. I live in michigan so the laws must be for michigan. Thank you for your time.

What is involved in the practical portion of the examination? I have never fired or even touched a gun in my life, yet I wish to start hunting, and shooting seems to be a good activity to get into… and I also want to be a gun owner. I also intend to get the restricted license for handguns.

Okay, I want to go hunting tomorrow. And my dad said that he don’t know if I have to have a hunters safety class. But he don’t know how old you have to be when you take a class.

So how old do you have to be to take a class. And I’m 12 so do I have to have a class. I think you have to be 15 to take a class.
So how old?
