What is a good use for a whitetail deer’s tail?
Posted by: | CommentsLike everyone here, I look forward to this coming deer season. I was able to get a good hunting lease here in Texas where I live. I had a question guys, I know this might be a weird question.
When you harvest a whitetail, skin it, gut it, wash the meat, and finally store in an icebox. What do you do with the whitetail deer’s tail? I heard that some people keep it as a good luck charm much like a rabbit’s foot. What do you do with a whitetail deer’s tail? I don’t know why I want to keep its tail besides mounting a buck’s head on my wall.
I know the GPS ones are like $500-$600 but I have heard about regular radio systems that are supposed to run about $200. Any info on those? THANKS!!!
Where are good places to go ghost hunting?
Posted by: | CommentsI wanted to go ghost hunting really bad. Anyone know of a place near York, PA I can go to that’s really haunted. Thank you.
I already went to Gettysburg. My half sister got a picture of an orb.
Any good fossil sites to visit in Colorado?
Posted by: | CommentsMy daughter and I are planning a trip to Colorado, and I’m curious to know if there are good fossil sites to get to around Denver area or Granby area. We’re happy to drive a few hours to get someplace, if it’s necessary. Neither of us have any major experience, so any “newbie” hunter locations would be the best.
What would be nice is a well-known site in the rockies, and any one with good knowledge of the area with pointers is much appreciated. I’ve googled and found some locations, but first hand knowledge is welcome.
Also, any advice on “minimal” equipment to take with us for rock/fossil hunting is useful. Please help!
Thanks!!!
