I’m sure many women before me have had this problem….and I’m sure many have solved it wrong….or actually figured it out. I am at a loss.

Almost a year ago my fiance bought the game Call of Duty 4 and a PS3. Being a video game lover myself…I understood when he wanted to play frequently. Over the course of 6 months he beat the game, leveled up to the top and became a pretty Kick A** player. That’s all fine and good.

Problem is that I commented that I thought he was playing a little too much after a while. He settled down with it…for a month. And then picked up again. I said something. It just keeps escalating. To the point where he doesn’t hear me speak to him. I have to yell his name.

We have 2 beautiful children that he complains he works too much and doesn’t see them enough. Yet he comes home, eats dinner, showers, and turns that game on.

Now, not to sound like a complainer…but it’s almost been a year. I’m sick of it. He is playing it now. It’s so bad I can’t even leave the kids in his care. He plays and doesn’t watch them close enough.

He has other hobby’s that I don’t complain about, like hunting, fishing, woodworking.

I want to spend the rest of my life with this man…but not with his game. I’m so frustrated that I want to walk in there and snap the disc in half. I realize that’s not rational.

I’ve even considered staging an “accident” so that it breaks…SOMETHING! ANYTHING! I’m so frustrated.

Please, someone suggest something other than…”talk to him”. I’ve exhausted that option. I’ve also told him it’s changing the way I see him. That’s not working either.

I know somebody has a solution.
