I do not want that cheap ash handled one running around the web. I would like one made of steel with a steel shaft.
I need to make one more point very clear. You dont throw a hog spear you use it as a jabbing weapon when you are up close so lightness is not an issue. I want solidity. Something that will not break like the last one did.
While I didnt find a spear head on Cabela’s I did find this!

P.S. I have hunted enough hogs to know that the Cold Steel stuff is bullsh*t. The last (tr)ash handle spear from them broke on me. And as for that samburu thing I might as well be using a blowgun. I am not trying to be an ass, I am just looking for something real.
Burnzwater….now we know where you get the name from. All that leftover douching after yer acts of gayness.

need to find a dog that doesn’t shed?

Posted by: | Comments (12)

My parents agree to get me a dog if I can find a dog breed that doesn’t shed and is a good hunter(to hunt with my dad) any suggestions?
p.s. a golden retriever is already out of the question
p.p.s. small breeds prefered but big dogs are okay too
p.p.s has to be good with young kids
thanks!!

I’ve been talking to my dad about finally getting a Mosin-Nagant. Mainly be using it for target practice and every now and then maybe take it deer hunting with me. I’ve been thinking on the M91/30 model since it has a decent size barrel and its the one that has the 100m-2000m adjustable sights. I know i wont be shooting over a mile even though it is possible but so many factors have to be considered before making that long of a shot.

There are several different models of the Mosin-Nagant:
1891
Dragoon Rifle
Cosack Rifle
Model 1907 Carbine
M1891/30
1938 Carbine
1944 Carbine
1891/59 carbine

Which of these is the easiest and cheapest to get ahold of? My guess is the M91/30. No i will not trade the old stock for a synthetic stock and eventually i wouldn’t mind getting the PU or PEM scope for it. Personally I would rather much have the regular Mosin-Nagant and not a carbine.

Yes i do know soft point ammo for it is hard to get ahold of. I would also be getting stripper clips for it as well.

I got my hunting license about two years ago. This would be my second time hunting and the first time in the US. Last time I was vacationing overseas and I went with some people.

I live near Orlando, Fl and I’m wondering where would be the best place to go hunting on public lands? I know about the http://myfwc.com/ website and I can see where the Wildlife Management Areas are, but I just wanted to know if there is a particular place better than others?

For example I don’t wanna end up picking a place where there are no deer. So I was just hoping for some tips in that regard. Plus any other tips you can throw my way. I’m going with 2 of my friends but we’re all beginners. I’ll be using a Ruger Mini-30 which uses 7.62×39 rounds. Hollow point bullets.
To the person who posted http://myfwc.com/hunting/wma-brochures/ I appreciate the help, but I already know about the brochures. What I’m wondering is which of those places are good to go to? Or are they all good?
