Black Bear Gall Bladders have been illegally traded in CA for decades. It was a huge problem until the state really cracked down on the black market. However, as a legitimate hunter with valid license and tag, it is perfectly legal for me to hold and possess this valuable little item (as long as I don’t sell it). My mother in law knows what to do to prepare Asian Medicine with this gall bladder. So, I am going to let her make the medicine and let her have the GB. [Selling animal parts is a felony. Please report all illegal trafficking of animal parts to the CA fish and game]
