Ok so i want to get into archery but i have a problem… there is no where for me to practice. Hempstead lake state park is 5 minutes away from me but they don’t really have it listed as an activity they offer but i don’t know if any state park really says they allow it the only thing i found that they listed is hunting which isn’t even available at Hempstead lake. im no looking to hunt just practice and make a hobby out of it… am i allowed to practice at any open field or does it have to be specifically for archery or an archery range.. also if i do need a designated area for archery where can i find one in Nassau county new york.
