moving to canada for hunting?
im thinking about moving to canada preferably alberta in the next few years im 16 now so i will wait till im at least 18 im moving there just for the great hunting eg many species of animals were is we only have a few in australia i need some answers like best places to move to hunt deer elk caribou maybe even bears or wolves any towns were these animals are plentifull
thanksto both of u for the answers i havent fully decided yet a well iv got 2 whole years to make a choice and tell ur son to never move to australia lol its the worst country in the world we do have a wide aray of deer but not many other thinghs most birds are protected so cant be shot and by law it is ilegal to shoot pigs and kangaroos unless ur an accredited shooter lol my dad is 1 luckily
You might want to reconsider your choices and add Alaska to the options. Alaska has everything Alberta does except an over abundance of Canadians. Don’t get me wrong. I love Canada and Canadians. In fact, one of my best friends lives in Stony Plain, Alberta. And my oldest son is about to marry a beauty from Edmonton, Alberta. I live in Alaska. It is the best place I have ever been. BIG country. LOTS of wildlife, and world famous hunting and fishing. Great people. And where I live in the south-central part of the state, better weather than Alberta. (Ever heard of a weather condition called the “Alberta Clipper”? Ironically, my oldest son says if he ever decides to leave Alaska, he will consider moving to Australia. You two need to talk…. Ha Ha! I hate to inform you but last time I was visiting there the people lived in the towns and the animals you mentioned lived in the country/woods.
No kidding-lol– western Alberta should prove good for you ,other than that Eastern Canada like Labrador for Caribou plus and Newfoundland for Moose ,Bear,Coyote,and Caribou and don’t forget Rabbits and the best Of bird life as well . The fishing in Labrador is next to none .
