Mossy oak brush camoflauge is it good for Mule Deer Hunting?

I will be hunting in just about everything from sage, pines, aspens, cedars, and mahogany’s. Is this a good camo I will be archery hunting and like the way it looks thanks. Any other suggestions?

‘Good camo’ has nothing to do with what you are hunting, and everything to do with WHERE you are hunting. If you like that pattern, buy it. There is no true universal camo (ask the military, they keep trying), but anything is better than a bright red sweater and jeans.

In the pure sense, open country sagebrush camo patterns, aspen and harwoods are all totally different patterns, and nothing is going to blend perfectly everywhere.

It is a great pattern if you will be hunting around grain fields, dry grass, sage brush, or corn fields. It is really good in Southern California in May & June, or in the Fall — Oct & Nov. — because of the sage & dry grass areas and agriculture & grain fields.
The pattern has a nice mix of tan and drab green. I used it last June (2009) and last November as well, and we really blended in well.
But as Tahoe said — it is more specific to the individual terrain being hunted. It probably blends well with pines and cedars as well. Aspens — maybe not.
For the Forested areas — RealTree AP ( AP — All Purpose– more brown), and APG ( APG — All Purpose Green — more green) works well, but AP is more for Fall hunting.

The use of camo is over rated. People weren’t using anything fancy 50 years ago, and they got game. Nowadays, a new camo pattern comes out every year because the manufacturers know that alot of people will buy it because it’s new and different.
