  1. Who are you? says:

There’s no such thing as a squirrel season. Likely, nobody will care if you shoot squirrels any time of the year, as long as you don’t do it in a crowded or public area.

  2. Cope says:

No. Looks like the season doesn’t open until September 1.

  3. Arkel D says:

There’s no such thing a a spring squirrel season anywhere.

  4. J Kirsch says:

No. Squirrel season in Ohio is only in Fall and Winter. The next squirrel season in Ohio runs from September 1, 2009 through January 31, 2010.

If you want to hunt in the spring, your options are pretty much limited to turkey, coyote, groundhog, and feral pig.

I think it starts in september. Ignore all the other people who keep saying there is no such thing as a squirrel season.
    Good Luck

There is no spring squirrel season in Ohio. The people that said there’s no such thing as squirrel season or no spring season anywhere have no idea what they are talking about. I go to Tennessee to hunt and they have a spring season. My suggestion would be for you to have someone take you to your local gun shop and get a book with the seasons and rules for hunting in Ohio. They are free and you won’t have to take someone’s word on what is legal or not. Some “experts” don’t have a clue what they are talking about. Look at it this way, you have all spring and summer to work on your shooting technique so by this fall the squirrels won’t have a chance. Good luck and be safe hunting.
