It all depends on the state you are in. There is no U.S. code against hunting bears with dogs, but several states have banned the practice. Check your state’s fish and game laws for the answer.

I don’t know about black bears, but there are some places where bears are plentiful and there is a bear hunting season during certain times of the year. Alaska and Canada probably. In any case, Dog hunting with Bears is legal at any time of the year. You just need to find a pack of bears to help you search for stray dogs.

In Canada, it’s legal but you still shoot the bear. It’s not like the dogs rip the bear to shreds or something like that, more like chasing it into a tree so you can shoot it. Very dangerous for your dogs!!

awww wats a matter? cant hunt them your self so you got to get your dogs to do the work for you??
