Is a small chicken barn considered to be a building according to Michigan’s laws about hunting Safety zones?

There is this hunter that shoots just fifty feet from our chicken barn. The barn is only the size of a regular shed used for a lawn mower. I do know that there are safety zones in which you can’t hunt. The law is that you can’t shoot anything within 150 yards of any building. I live in michigan so the laws must be for michigan. Thank you for your time.

It is a building. An outbuilding, to be specific.
Does the law say residential building, occupied building, or just building? If it says building, then your shooter is breaking the law.

I’m not an expert and suggest you look into the legality of this further by contacting your local DNR conservation officer.

I was able to find this information. Please note the word occupied is repeated and that this only pertains to hunting not shooting.

The law does not say; 150 yards, that is incorrect, formerly it was 500 feet, and unless it has been changed it most likely is still 500 feet.
