Contact the DPS and find an instructor that can give you propper instruction on firearm safety and use. After you have a certificate (age permitting) go to a firing range and rent

military School, possibly ROTC at a normal high school (you won’t be able to perform the firing, but you may be taught how to).
There are some gun firing ranges where you can be taught. Google map it and find out.

the people who have never shot a gun are usually the best shots in basic. dont worry about it, now go pop some pimples or something

Gun ranges are a good start
But you will get trained how to fire a weapon once you arrive in basic
Along with how to completly break your weapon down and reassemble it.

Save it for basic. You can fire guns now if your family will allow it, but as for military training, the military would rather you be a blank slate, so to speak. You would be easier to train that way. They want you to learn how to fire their way, which is effective, and not spend time how to unlearn your “bad” habits and again, learn the proper way.
You need to remember four basic objectives of rifle training in the military.
Steady position
Aiming
Breath control
Trigger squeeze.

when you learn to form a coherent sentence.
that might take a while though.
so, no rush to learn to fire a gun.
in bootcamp, you ‘ll get LOTS of practice, and have MANY people yelling at you..woo hoo..

Ask a family member or a friend’s family member, everyone has a uncle or cousin that is a hunter or who owns a gun. have them take you out and teach you. If you are looking to fire automatic weapons you’ll have to just wait.

If youre so clueless Id hate to see you with a gun of any kind mate. Guns are for people with a little common sense.
