think like a human, not like a deer, fokus on u not the deer, u need complete fokus on: u, your wepon security, the wind, the heat, tracks and your feet, or else you screw up, and most importantly for me your breathing. thats my view of a good trip into the woods, but many good points none the less

I have an idea for people who hate hunters:
Go to the forest and pretend you are also a hunter. Take your rifle and aim at the hunters. If you get caught you can say that you were aiming a deer but accidentally shot the hunter as he came between you and the deer.

walk like a deer! it works for me, walk in slower steps and on ur toes(imagine wat a deer sounds like when it walks and mimic it) and stop frequently,every 10 yards or so,and keep ur head up,u never know when u will come right up on one…and if they start to snort wheeze then do it urself and they will sometimes calm down if they were scared of the noise u were making(you don`t need a call to snort wheeze,just make the sound by blowing ) AND BE CAREFUL,DONT GET SHOT URSELF!!!

@jerkbrahd obviously he is making a video he is not actually hunting at the time and he probably had his gun with him to make him seem more proffesional. you think he is going to take off his scope and bipod just for a 2 minute video? if you think your so good at hunting why don’t you make some videos on how to do it?

I’m sorry, but if your going to publish instructional video, you need to loose all the “Uuuhhhh, uhhh” and “uummm-um-um”‘s.
It is very distracting and is not efffective in conveying your message.
Maybe get someone who is better at public speech. Even if they arent good at hunting, you can write the script.

Why do you need a bipod and a scope to stalk? Are you stalking in an open field? Or when you stumble upon a deer ten yards in front of you do you back up 50 yards just so you can find him in your scope. Moron.

If you were in Africa hunting buffalo or antelope you would get plenty of excitement in the brush…oh by the way,all the deer have cleared off since you started bullshitting in the wood! hahaha

I’ve killed all my deer stalking. Nobody taught me. I didn’t even know it was a recognized method until years after I first started doing it. The only problem is that the deer will often detect you first. You gotta be reeeeeelly sneaky. And slow. Most of the deer I killed were taken at 25 yards or less. My best kill was a bobcat that I walked up on. He never even knew I was there. 10 yards. 45-70 Sharps.

I agree. I personally hate hunting and don’t eat meat. I hate the people that will sit there and say how cruel hunting is while eating a fucking hamburger. The animals that get hunted are treated like ROYALTY compared to the shit the animals in industry go through.
