@firekiller4848 and how big was the pig your friend shot? because a young boar insnt going to have as thick of a skull as a full grown boar. Also what kind of rounds was he using? A .270 with atleast a 130grain should kill a hog if he shot it in the head in the right place. You can shoot a deer in the head with a .270 and if you dont hit the brain it wont kill it. Shot placement is every thing.

Can`t believe that. But by the way……..a .177 airgun pellet on a hog???????
Here in germany is the minimum energy of a bullet at 100meters (~96 yards)
    of 750 ft/lbs (1000 joules) for hunting a buck!!!
This is given by hunting law. I dont know if there is something like a hunting law
    in different U.S. states?

  18. firekiller4848 says:

    thats fake

  19. firekiller4848 says:

he moves to much and the sckull is the hardest part of the hog my friend has a 270. and he has to shoot it in the ear to get to the brain

  20. vtecivicsib18 says:

Thats a good eatin pig no lie.. Pretty good size pig.. Good shootin tex

  21. mark2sharp says:

1600 fps what is that in power foot lbs

  22. Patricius88 says:

is this air rifle good in 25 caliber?

  23. Patricius88 says:

    Nice Headshot!

  24. stephcrouch1 says:

ok. i have a 22. walther falcon hunter, and it puts out about 27 foot pounds, and i know that this one is 177. at about the energy, 27 foot pounds, and a 177 is a smaller sized bullet. So if i was hunting wild boar with a air rifle it would be A 9mm or a 45 or 50calibers. or proble just use a 222. or 270.

Is being a hunter a full time job and is it something you do the whole year? It seems like such an awesome and laidback job.
