Yes. Just walk around. I hike around with a gps and a scout rifle and come I come across all sorts of hog and deer tracks. Just follow the fresh tracks and usually you will walk right up onto a buck or a hog. I hate tree stands…

I have hunted there several times & the only live animals that i have seen, are woods stompers ( people that call themselves hunters, but have no concept of how to be still or quiet )
there are places that are better to hunt, that have a higher success rate
