i like a good ol cheap one so if it breaks or fails to operate you not lose alot of money. i have a wildview ez cam and it is a flash but ive had 3 of them for 3-4 months and no problem and they are under $100

Moultrie Game Cameras are the best on the market for the value.

Sorry Cuddieback!

Here is why I say that befoer people give me the thumbs down.

1. Service! The service department is great. I had a camera (not infrared) for 3 years. Had some issues and contacted Moultrie service department. I sent it in and they repaired it and it only cost me the shipping to send it to them. If you read any reviews on Moultrie you will find out that everyone rates the service department high.

2. Price! A flash unit runs in the neighbor hood of around $100. The cameras with infrared will generally run $200 or a little higher.

3. Instructions and operation! Moultries have very good instruction manuals and are easy to setup. You almost don’t even need a manual, it is pretty much self explanitory.

4. Picture quality! The pictures are great. Most have a low, medium and high resolution. Of course now these cameras are tools and we shouldn’t be expecting magazine quality pictures, but that are darn close to it on high quality images.

The other thing that I like about them is where they are not that expensive, IF by chance your camera was stolen or even damaged by a bear while in the woods you aren’t out a fortune.

The other brands of cameras are so expensive that if you had one stolen or damage you would be sick cause of how much you spent.

You can’t go wrong getting a Moultrie game camera.

You get what you pay for in trail cameras. So it really depends how much you want to pay. Wildview are affordable, but they also have slow trigger speed. Reconyx cameras are the best by far, but they are expensive (starting around $500). I bought a cuddeback because I like the fast trigger speed so I don’t miss any deer. I also heard great things about scoutguard cameras. Cuddeback, Moultre, and Scoutguard are similar priced I believe ($200-$300). Once again it all depends what you want to pay.
