Dog breeds- Info no pictures?
ByI have decided to do a series of of quizzes without pictures and no info. There will be NO hints so don’t ask for them. I will try to put as much info as i can. There will be NO countries of origin.
THEY ARE ALL PURE BREDS, if you are going to just put mutt down don’t bother, just star and move on or just move on.

1) is a very ancient breed and appears in paintings and texts since the 4th and 5th centuries BC. originally developed to drive game into nets, however, with the invention of the gun, the role developed to that of the modern day hunt, point and retrieve breeds. When hunting game covers ground in an elongated flowing trot while holding his nose up to the wind scenting for game. appearing as though they were “being pulled along by the nose.” Pointing breed. FCI, KC registrable.
2)are being used for search and rescue and as service dogs. origins can be found as far back as the 1500′s. It is believed that this dog originated from the Spioen or spaniel. the breed was developed to work in the duck decoys. The hunter would train his dog to lure the ducks into a “trap.”By the 1930′s this lovely breed was nearly extinct. DKC/FCI/UKC/ARBA registrable.
3)Rustic, medium-sized multi-purpose breed. Used for herding livestock, hunting small game, and as a fisherman’s assistant. Single, curly coat is never brushed, traditionally allowed to cord. Tail is traditionally docked. Extremely lively, clownish and athletic with protective one-family temperament. an ancient breed. They are also used for many more modern tasks such as search and rescue, drug and bomb sniffing, agility, and water work. FCI/NKC/UKC registrable
4) very large breed of dog of the molosser dog type. The breed is best known for its former use during bullfights. Dogs of this type traveled with explorers and were used as war dogs in the subjugation of Indian (Native American) peoples, as well as in the capturing of slaves. the large dogs were also used for hunting big game such as wild boar, and, as with dogs of this type in other countries, as a butcher’s dog. and by 1963 were thought to be extinct. Only recognized by its native kennel club as of yet but are working toward recognition in other registries. Very health breed, no known health issues. ONe of the few molassers that does not drool, snore, or slobber. Very ancient breed. Very powerful jaw. Cattle handler.
5)large breed of northern-type dog kept as a sled dog and for hunting polar bear and seal. This is an ancient breed, thought to be directly descended from dogs brought to their native land by the first Inuit settlers. between 4000 and 5000 years ago the dog reached its native land. belong to the Spitz breeds. has been a draught animal for centuries and consequently they have developed a powerful body and heavy coats, with a natural capacity for load pulling and endurance in a harsh working environment. have been used on many expeditions by explorers. being used as working dogs by the Native. FCI registrable. Fairly rare.
6) ancient breed. Major health issues are unknown, companion, name translates into honey (small) dog. There used to be two breeds considered the same but it was split. The exact origin has not been well documented. Throughout its history, has been most commonly kept as a family pet and companion, proving its superior abilities to provide both entertainment and warm companionship. has attained a regional popularity as a family pet and companion, the breed remains rather rare outside of its native country. not yet recognized by major kennel clubs but it is recognized in their own country as a breed.
