Does military personnel have to take hunters safety?
ByI am in the Guard and heard while i was at training that i dont need to compete hunters safety to go hunting because ive been trained to shoot the m16 and im in the military. not sure if this is true or not? i live in wisconsin

Yes. Took the class when I was 12. Doesn’t matter what your occupation is. Being qualified on a M-16 doesn’t mean you know the laws of hunting.

To get a hunting licence all have to take a hunter safety course.
