H & R’s aren’t readily stocked at your average sporting goods store. Your best bet is to go to a small locally owned gun shop where they care about their business and ask them if they can order one. Since guns are shipped by overnight air, you won’t have to wait long. A lot of times the bigger chain sporting goods stores won’t order what they don’t normally stock. I’d also double check your local laws and make sure you can use this during muzzle loading season. I’ve never heard of a state allowing a cartridge to be used during this season. Good luck!

Try Gander Mountain, Bass Pro, Cabela’s, or on the web a good place to look would be gunbroker.com. Gun broker is an ebay like site that regular people and dealers alike can auction or sell guns and ammo.

Your best bet is to find a reputable dealer who will special order for you, if you don’t already know one.
For availability, you could try running a search on Gunbroker.com to find your rifle. All dealers on Gunbrokers will ship to any FFL dealer that will reciprocate, with the buyer handling the shipping & handling charges.
