Do you need some set of license to run a free non-profit business out of your home?

When I buy a house soon I want to start a free ghost hunting service. Would I need a license to have people come into my home and “hire” me to do an absolutely free ghost hunt in their home?

We I need a license to accept tips from them even if I don’t charge anything for my services? Or no?

No and yes, if is free uncle sam is not gonna hunt you down for change, an remember if you try to get a permit or license to do business you going to need a bond ,insurance ,tax id and so on maybe even a location,

As you are a young person 18 years old, it might well be hard finding clients who would actually take you seriously

Why wait til you buy a house???
Why would people come to your home to hire you???? Have you heard of the telephone? Or would the ghosts hack your line?
