Do you need a permit to kill with a BB Gun if you have a hunting license?

I have a Migratory Bird permit but don’t have a gun to shoot them with other than a BB Gun. I live in Georgia so there is a required primitive weapons permit for some things but is a BB Gun one? Can I just use it to kill them?

Federal regulations prevent the taking of migratory birds with a rifle or pistol, etc
Even the most powerful “BB” guns are not powerful enough to humanely take anything much larger than a bullfrog or small bird.

check with a local wildlife officer & see what you will need, to allow you to hunt with your BB gun, as well as what you can hunt with it.
it illegal to hunt anything with a bb gun (unless you are just killing mice or something). because they arent powerful, its considered unethical and thats why its illegal (they dont want animals suffering). the only legal means for migratory game birds are shotguns (maybe a .22 or something for picking them out of trees, but thats considered unethical too), and in some cases falconry is ok.
im not quite sure but i have taken down many animals with bb guns got a dozen dove one day with a bb gun. mmm tasty
