Sausage recipes……….?
Posted by: | CommentsI know that this isn’t the food section. I just thought that this may be the best place to get some good replies.
I’ve been getting into sausage making as of late. So far I’ve made summer sausage, breakfast sausage and links, bratwurst, and Kielbasa/Polish sausage. I have all the equipment needed along with four books. All have turned out well with the exception of one batch gleaned from a recipe from a book I no longer trust. I’m also aware of websites like www.sausagemaking .com.
I guess that I’m looking for something that I can use this fall and not have to worry about wasting valuable wild game doing the old trial and error thing.
So, does anyone have a sausage recipe they’re willing to share, or at least provide a link to? I’m looking for HOME Made sausage recipes, not recipes containing pre-made sausage.

Look Guys before you jump down my throat.. the threat of Haynes game at 5/8 is enough to give him the gig over our other options. Will give Soward the room he needs at halfback (which he basically is anyway)and Dugan in the team is the wild card we need. Its an X factor team and then bringing Sutton off the bench for Gallen at the 30 minute mark will slip our offense into overdrive. If you have Hayne or Farah running at you with Gasnier and/or Idris running the angle with Dugan running a straight line and Uate/Morriss with some room out wide you would be in all sorts. Sutton coming on to stand up defence and offload with the heat out of the game is seriously a recipe for offensive carnage. Stop picking defensive teams and fight fire with fire Sticky cos we have the players!!
So what do you think what should i fix and do you agree or disagree
House Warming “Themed” Party Ideas?
Posted by: | CommentsI am looking forward to sharing time with friends and throwing a house warming party; however, some advice would be greatly appreciated. I have a lovely apartment (live alone & no pets) in South Florida. My friends/co-workers are aware that I do not drink alcohol; however, they are welcome to bring their own. I really would enjoy a ‘Theme’ party, but cannot seem to find any ideas online that would fit. I do not want a costume party, wild games, etc.
I had a couple ideas I was kicking around but I seriously need some creative help.
My first idea was that in a tough economy to throw a “Coupon/Savings Party?” Encourage (on invitation) to bring coupons (for anything) and throw into a basket when they arrive. (ugh. Does that sound lame?)
My other idea was perhaps a “Spice Up Your Life” Party, and I can make homemade chili to serve and encourage guests to bring a spice of their choice and a recipe that includes that spice? The problem I saw with this one was that I may end up with 5 jars of nutmeg.
I also thought of an idea to make little recipe books with my favorite dishes for my guests including a spice for them. A nice little ‘spicy’ gift for them?
As you can see, I am making this more difficult that it needs to be. I am also getting long winded, so any help would be greatly appreciated. I know it is improper to ask for gifts.
I just want something new, creative and different for my housewarming party and friends. What do you think?
One final etiquette question… (If you’re still reading my ramblings) If I do go with a “Spice” themed party, or “Chili Pepper” Party, etc…how do you encourage guests to bring something? (like their favorite recipe, a spice, a coupon, etc.) Or is it implied with the “Theme” on the invite?
I do appreciate your time, consideration, advice and ideas for my party.

Can eating fried Beaver’s Tail kill you?
Posted by: | CommentsI really want to try this recipe for fried beaver’s tail (I read it in this bathroom reader) And I could probs get the ingredients next month or so. (minus the Beaver’s tail,) and I was also wonderin’ if eatin’ the beaver’s tail cann kill you. If it whil kill me, Ill eat the moose nose or the bear whatevs… I really like wild game. Plus I’m Canadien so ya it is all good. . If all them animals whil kill me, I don wanna eat em. all honosty here, folks. even read it in the Canadian bathroom reader, i think thats what its called. an if you are steriotypicle don be cuz i AM Canadien an I don say eh…Seriously Curious
