What is the fascination with firearms?
Posted by: | CommentsI’m not against owning weapons. I have swords, knives, spears, battle axes, crossbows, and other hand weapons. I just don’t understand why a person would want to own something that make killing extremely easy. I can see owning a hunting rifle if you’re into hunting, although I prefer to use a bow. I just don’t see any use any other type of firearm. Please try to enlighten me.
jidinphilly, You totally miss what the my question is all about. I’m not saying that Police Officers should use crossbows. . I’m trying to understand WHY people like firearms. I’m not saying that peope shouldn’t own them, just don’t understand why they own them.
I happen to prefer edged weapons, like to hunt with a bow. I also don’t use tree stands, but prefer to track the animal. But that doesn’t mean that I think no one else should use them, just I prefer not to.
John D, I see you’re another one who is totally cluless. I guess you think everyone should love and use frearms. You come across to me as close minded.
I dont’t need a gun to defend myself. I can defend myself with edged weapons, and my knowledge of Hoshin Ryu just fine.

Note: The following storyline contains superstars and divas from the past and present. Due to so much information and details that will be in this storyline, this storyline will be over two parts. PPVs will be old as well. Please, enjoy this storyline. Thank you.
Week 1 (Three Weeks Away From Survivor Series):
Raw:
Mr. McMahon comes out to the ring and announces that at Survivor Series, two teams of eight will face off in a sixteen elimination tag match. Two matches will happen. Whoever wins those matches will recruit members to their team.
1. Raven vs. CM Punk. Winner = Raven. Punk went for a GTS but Raven reversed it into a DDT for the win. Punk looked upset after the match.
2. Triple H vs. Chris Jericho. Winner = Chris Jericho. Triple H went for a Pedigree but Jericho reversed it into a Walls Of Jericho on Triple H’s injured leg.
Raven and Chris Jericho will be fighting with their teams at Survivor Series.
Week 2 (Two Weeks Away From Survivor Series):
Raw:
Chris Jericho tries to recruit Edge and Christian to be with them. Christian says that they are already with Raven. Jericho says that Raven can’t do anything. Jericho says the only reason Raven wants Edge and Christian is because he is a coward. Edge tells Jericho that they don’t care. They just want to hurt Jericho. Chris walks off.
1. Raven (w/E&C) vs. Matt Hardy. Winner = Raven after Raven hit the Raven Effect on Hardy.
Raven, Edge, and Christian are backstage together. Rhino walks up. Rhino says that he’d like to join. Raven says he can. Jericho walks up with the Big Show. Jericho says that he recruited the Big Show for Team Jericho.
2. Chris Jericho & Big Show vs. E&C (w/Raven). Winners = Jericho and Big Show. Edge went for a Spear on Show but Show hit Edge with a KO punch for the win. Team Jericho celebrated after the match. Raven looked upset.
Week 3 (One Week Away From Survivor Series)
Raw:
Chris Jericho and the Big Show come out to the ring to recruit people to Team Jericho. Jericho says that whoever is to come and join Team Jericho will be happy to finally beat someone they wanted to beat forever. No one comes out. Show gets on the microphone and says that if no one comes out, then he’ll go hunt for people to join by force. Jericho says that Show shouldn’t do that. Kane comes out. Kane says that he’d like to join Team Jericho for the Survivor Series match. Jericho welcomes Kane to the team. Jericho asks if anyone else wants to join. Team Raven comes out. Raven says that if Jericho wants to recruit people, they should ask instead of forcing. Raven says that Team Raven needs four more people before next Sunday while Jericho needs to find five more. Jericho tells Raven that he’ll find people. Team Raven leaves.
1. Big Show and Kane (w/Jericho) vs. Edge and Christian. Winners = Show and Kane. Edge had hit a spear on Kane but Jericho hit a quick Code Breaker on him while the ref wasn’t looking. Kane picked up the win for the team. Raven and Rhino were backstage talking about tonight. What could be planned?
Team Jericho (Jericho, Kane, and Show) are backstage talking. The Hardy Boyz and Lita come into the shoot. Jeff says that they want to join Team Jericho. Chris Jericho welcomes them in. Kane and Lita stare at each other. Kane lets Lita walk by.
2. Rhino vs. Chris Jericho (w/Team Jericho). Winner = Rhino. Jericho went for a Code Breaker but Rhino hit a Gore after reversing it. Raven comes out and says that the Dudley Boys have joined Team Raven. Jericho tells Team Raven to step in the ring. Triple H comes out. Triple H says that he doesn’t want to be on anyone’s team. After saying that, Triple H attacked Team Jericho. Triple H has joined Team Raven. Jericho says that Jericho has been fooling with Team Raven all along. Jericho says that he has known who his team members would be ever since the first week. Jericho welcomes Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash, and Rob Van Dam. Raven says that is a good team Jericho has but Team Raven has one more person. The Undertaker comes out. Team Jericho looks at Taker to end the show.
Week 4 (6 Days Away From Survivor Series):
Raw:
Vince McMahon comes out and says that tonight will be a series of tag matches featuring the eight members of both teams.
1. The Dudley Boys (Team Raven) vs. The Hardy Boys (Team Jericho). Winners = Team Raven. Matt went for a Twist Of Fate but D-Von pushed him off into Buba. D-Von quickly went behind Buba and hit a 3D on Matt for the win.
Jericho is backstage upset about the team loss. Raven walks up and says that Jericho is out of luck because tonight it will be Jericho and Big Show vs. The Undertaker and Raven. Jericho says that he doesn’t care about anything anymore. Raven walks off.
2. Kevin Nash and Shawn Michaels (Team Jericho) vs. Triple H and Rhino (Team Raven). Winners = Team Raven. Shawn went for a Super Kick on Triple H and connected but Rhino was the legal man s
uper Kick on Triple H and connected but Rhino was the legal man so he hit a Gore on Shawn for the win.
Jericho is furious backstage. Jericho starts kicking things around and attacks staff members.
3. E&C (Team Raven) vs. Kane and RVD (Team Jericho). Winners = Kane and RVD. Christian set Kane up for a KillSwitch but Rob hit a Van Daminator on Christian. Kane got the pin for the team.
Jericho is cooling off backstage.
4. The Undertaker and Raven (Team Raven) vs. Big Show and Jericho (Team Jericho). Winners = Team Raven. Taker hit a ChokeSlam on Jericho for the win.
Survivor Series:
1. Team Raven (Raven, Edge, Christian, Rhino, Triple H, Dudleys, Taker) vs. Team Jericho (Jericho, Show, Hardys, Nash, Michaels, Kane, RVD). Winners = Team Jericho.

What in the world…?
Posted by: | CommentsI was playing Final Fantasy XII last night and I was going to go on what I thought was an ‘easy’ hunt for Vaan. So I chose the ‘Hunt The Wraith’ in Stockroom No. 5.
Only what TRANSPIRED was the worst butt-kicking I’ve ever gotten! I was immediately set upon by Malboro Kings and Spear Tongues–which killed my party!
These things were all Level 38 and I was only Level 30!
But the Wraith is a Level 9!
Why were the creatures much tougher to face than the end boss??? Is it because I’m higher in levels?
Man…I am so underprepared for this. :0(

Posted by: | CommentsRalph is huddled in the jungle near Castle Rock, as dusk passes. Samneric, who are guarding Castle Rock under Jack’s leadership, are approached by Ralph. They inform him that Jack’s tribe will be out hunting him the next day, and they have “sharpened a stick at both ends.” Ralph tells Samneric of his hiding spot, and proceeds back to it. Scared by Jack’s power, Samneric tell Jack about Ralph’s hiding spot the next morning. Another boulder is rolled down, but misses smashing Ralph. Other attempts of getting Ralph from his hiding spot are unsuccessful, so they set the entire area on fire in desperation.
Ralph begins to run from the advancing fire, making his way to Simon’s mat of creepers where he hides and lays low. The savages advance with the fire, searching, hunting for Ralph. They finally reach Ralph’s hiding spot, and Roger looks in. Ralph attacks him, knocking him over, and continued running to the beach. Running wildly, he almost crashed into a Naval officer standing at the beach, who was attracted by all the fire and smoke. He assumes that their stay on the island must’ve been all “fun and games,” but is surprised at the spears and face paint on many of the boys. Some are crying, many are confused. The officer is told that two boys were killed, and everyone is taken to a Navy cruiser.

Some raiders attack a village. I think the village was in the mountains and there was snow. The raiders take a bunch of men and women including the girlfriend of the main character. All i remember is that this girl had braided hair and blue eyes. Then some hunters 3 i think including the main character decide to go after them to attempt a rescue. Theres also an old lady that’s a shaman and she sees the whole thing in her visions. I also remember a scene where alot of their hunters attempt to hunt down a mammoth. They wait for the whole herd of mammoths to go through a pass and they try to capture the last, straggling one with a net. The main character and a bunch of people jump on the net (and this was a big deal to them) he was the last one standing and he managed to kill the beast with a spear by lying back, and then he gets some white bone spear.
The prisoners are taken to what looks like egypt building pyramids. There are tons of slaves and mammoths used as workhorse. The climax is when the main character assembles all these people from different tribes, get the slaves within the city to fight for him and even the enslaved mammoths to fight. Pleaseeeeeee i need this movie i remember so much of it so well except the title its really annoying.
