sling or strap for a rifle?

i have a henry 22 rifle that i bring to my cabin in el dorado national forest…i go up on this hill behind my cabin for hours at a time with my rifle. and some times when im up there for 5 or 6 hours anything even my 5 ound rifle can get a little heavy. any advice on how to put a strap on it?

Im going camping for my first time this summer, im totally stoked. Just curious about some stories. We have plans for fishing, hiking, hunting and just try not to get eaten by bears or trampled by a moose lol (alaska)

Two dead in Johnson Lake canoe accident
Two men died after their canoe capsized on Johnson Lake while fishing Saturday afternoon. Alaska State Troopers identified the victims as Kevin Maze and Jason McClarin, both 35, of Anchorage.
