When you buy the mandatory state hunting license they should tell you which areas the permit is for.

Wouldn’t we all! Arizona has all except alligators. Montana and Wyoming the same. Many states use a lottery system to try to draw a tag others flat out sell you tags with your license. Try E-bay, sometime you can bid a good deal on a nice hunt. Good shooting.

Texas has all that game, no promises on the cost though.

just go to a zoo, after hours. You should be able to get each one of those animals.

pick a state and go to their individual department of natural resources web site. You can search for public hunting land on these sites. You will normally pay about 5 times more for a license hunting out of state as opposed to hunting in your own state. For example, SD residents pay 25 bucks to hunt pheasants for 3 months, and out of state hunters pay 110 for 10 days. Elk will run you around a grand in most places. Depending on what you’re hunting, the outfitter price may be worth it. If it costs you 2500 bucks to do an elk hunt where the license is a grand, you may be better off doing it as your chances of getting one greatly increases with the outfitter. If you spend a thousand bucks and never see an elk, you may feel as if you’ve thrown a lot of that away. You’ll have to figure out the cost of lodging and whatnot as well. If you just want the cheapest hunt, find the public land and stay in a motel 6.. or a tent.
You can also get on a chat service (aol, yahoo, etc.) and search for hunters by doing profile searches. You can find people with land, befriend them, and pray they offer permision. If you have property to offer others as a hunting ground.. this helps! It helps to network with hunting buddies as well. I’ve been hunting for years and have gotten to know lots of people that each have something to offer.
You can get group rates as well if you take a few friends with you on your hunt. So going with outfitters may pay off in the long run as you’re able to network more. Hope this helps!
