Better clothes for turkey hunting?

Is it better to have like a leafy ghillie suit or just like real tree camo type clothing? Or doesn’t it matter?

Personal opinion. Unless somebody has been a turkey, they can’t tell you what hides you the best.
I prefer the leafy gillie especially the ones where they sew the leaf cut outs on a net type material. They allow me to wear anything under them. From heavy cold weather clothing to shorts and a tee shirt. I find it really comes in handy when you nave morning temps in the 30′s and noon temps in the70′s.
It doesn’t matter as long as it is subdued, greenish or other natural color and you conceal yourself behind some bushes, stay relativel still and call the bird into effective gun range.
I laugh at the ignorant dupes who weat CAMO clothing to hunt deer. Deer are COLOR-BLIND !!! They see only various shades of black and white and grey. Why do people who wear Orange shoot more deer than those who wear CAMO ??
Because they know their quarry while those who wear CAMO obviously do not, or they would wear SAFE orange.
Great question. I do not think it really matters. There are several things to consider. Any camo will work as long as you are fully covered. No white t-shirt showing, no white socks showing, nothing flashy or reflective, no hands or face either. Break up your silhouette with a tree with low bushes around you if possible. You really need to figure out when and how to move. If he is looking in your direction and you twitch a finger he will be gone in a nano second. Last weekend I called in a nice longbeard for my 12 year old son, it was awesome, his first one. I will never forget it. I think he is now addicted, he likes it much better than Deer hunting, so do I.
