Any way to find out how much utilities will be on a new apartment?

I’m apartment hunting and there are a lot of places that dont included anything. Is there any way to find out an estimate if owner doesn’t even know.
Because I moved into an apartment before that cost $300 for just utilities and i lived in another where it was just $100
any tips?

try and get the landlord to give you the name and phone # of previous tenant of a place you’re interested in and call them or you might try calling the utility companies and give them the specific address and apt #, but if previous tenant had different # of people living there than you will, it’s hard to compare or they might have been less careful with heating or AC use – also depends if heat is included in rent or not.
Call the utility company and ask for a monthly estimate on the property for the past year. It will give you a range. Since you will not know how many people actually lived there prior to you or what their usage was it will only be an estimate.
Just call the utility company and give them the address. They keep records of past usage so they can give you an average.
ComEd will give you a 12 month history as will most Gas companies! Just call them and give them the address and tell them you are thinking of renting and need the 12 month history.
You can call the utility company and ask them what the average utility bill is for the apartment, they will usually tell you.
