we had a scavenger hunt once where there were 3 teams and they each had one driver (since it was for kids who couldn’t drive). each team was given a list with 2 columns.
the 1st column was a list of items to collect. the easy items were worth 1 point and the more difficult ones worth 2 points. in that list were things like a penny from ____ date, something with a McDonnalds symbol, a pen from a hotel, the previous day’s newspaper, and other items. the teams were allowed to get items from houses but were limited to only 2 items per house.
the 2nd column were things that the team had to get a picture of with a digital camera. the easy pictures were worth 1 point and the harder ones worth 2 points. for these pictures at least one member fo the team had to be in the picture to be sure that they weren’t cheating. in this list were things like a pic. of all but one of your team members hanging upside down, pic of a starbucks, pic of a sound of music DVD, pic of at least four members of your team doing a pyramid in front of or inside the mall, a picture with at least 20 people in it outdoors, and other things like that.
The teams were givin a time that they had to be back at the meeting place and for every minuite that a team was late, their team was docked a point. once everyone was assembled, we ate lunch while the each team one by one showed the judges their items and pictures. the judges added up the points and announced the winner.
believe me when i say that it was a blast! i hope i helped in some way.
a mall one?
Idk… something fun and simple. Not too hard, not to easy.
