African Wild Dogs Hunting Kudu On Khwai River In Moremi Reserve – Machaba Camp, Botswana – July 2000

Dogs chase male kudu into river and then quickly disappear back into the trees. Kudu gets impatient and comes out within a few minutes to find that the dogs were lying in wait. Kudu briefly comes out and then turns back into deeper water. Dogs leave and return chasing female, right in front of the Male. Female escapes by crossing the river. Male leaves the water, this time waiting about 30 mins.
