Some… Teal mostly come in tightly pact flocks of about 15-30 birds and do crazy evasive manuvers… I just let um go… not worth the shot. Not to mention teal would be about half of those bird’s size… they looked like mostly mallards to me.

You guys are lucky down there. Here in Minnesota, we have to wait unti like 9:00 am… ~2 hours after sunrise!!!
Thats just for opener though, We have to shoot at sunrise all other times.

People don’t understand that when you video…the video camera shows it to be darker than it is….
When videoin’ a hunt it is best to wait until the sun is up to get the best video footage…
Great little video…
Only point I will make is that most of those birds you shot on tape was either woodies or teal…(not all the mallards you posted in the pic at the end)

those must be teal

obviously yall shot the last ducks on the water because the camera stopped recording when you said get them

30 minutes before sunrise. I’m not sure why everyone keeps asking that. Camera light is a good 15 minutes later that what you can see with your eyes. I started recording about 5 minutes before sunrise (25 minutes after shooting time).
