Boar and Sheep hunting in California?
By · CommentsI am going to be going to california sometime soon, I live in PA, and was wondering what type of rifle to take for boar and big horn sheep.
I will not be buying a new rifle or anything like that, my options for artillery are
30-30
.270
.300 win mag
.300 savage
.308 (not sure if i can get ahold of it yet)
.223
7mm
those are my options
if you have any ideas or what gun will work best and what ammo would work best for sheep and boar please let me let me know
also if you know anywhere where i would be able to hunt or where i can get a guide to take me hunting in northern california that would be super helpful too!
also i have a 30-06 pump i can use
